Sales Resume Templates

Templates for sales reps, account executives, and business development professionals.

Numbers first, story second

Sales is one of the few fields where your performance is measurable to the decimal, and hiring managers know it. If quota attainment is not on your resume, the assumption is not that you forgot. Put the numbers up front and the rest of the resume gets read with the benefit of the doubt.

Context matters as much as the figure. A Sales Representative resume needs quota, attainment and deal size, because 120 percent of a small number is a different achievement from 95 percent of a large one. An Account Executive resume needs cycle length, ACV and whether you were closing new business or expanding existing. A Sales Manager resume needs team quota and how many of your reps actually hit it.

These templates put the numbers where a sales leader looks first, which is roughly the top third of page one.
